DFCS Announces 2018 Christmas Concert "Resounding Joy"

The Dutch Fork Choral Society presents Resounding Joy, a Christmas concert featuring festive holiday music and brass quartet, on Friday, November 30, 2018 at 7:30 pm, at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 170 St. Andrews Road, Columbia. The concert features a Christmas cantata by Daniel Pinkham, antiphonal works by Gabrieli and Vivaldi, and festive holiday favorites. Free to the public. (Donations graciously accepted). Kirstina Rasmussen Collins, Artistic Director, and Bradley Fuller, accompanist.

DFCS Begins Rehearsals For 2018-2019 Season

It is almost time to start singing again! The Dutch Fork Choral Society will begin rehearsals for the 2018-2019 Season on Tuesday, September 4th at 7:00 pm at Chapin UMC. All Voice parts are needed. No auditions. Fees for the year are $60. We are extremely excited and fortunate to have the very qualified Kirstina Rasmussen Collins as our new artistic director! This season the DFCS will be presenting 3 concerts at locations and dates to be determined. Please come, greet old friends, welcome new voices and bring friends with you too.
