DFCS Announces 2017-2018 Concerts

The Dutch Fork Choral Society is happy to announce its 2017-2018 concerts:

  1. Friday, December 1, 2017 - Messiah (with orchestra and guest soloists) at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Irmo, supporting St. Mary’s Snack Pack Program (Leaphart Elementary).
  2. Friday, February 23, 2018 - Fundraiser Love Songs at Saluda Shoals River Center, supporting Sharing God's Love.
  3. Thursday, April 26, 2018 - Modern Composers (with guest choir from MidCarolina High School) at Chapin United Methodist Church, supporting Chapin We Care.

Dutch Fork Choral Society Angelic Voices Concert Announced

The Dutch Fork Choral Society Angelic Voices concert is to be presented at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church 7:00 PM Friday, April 21, 2017. This free concert (donations accepted) will be performed by DFCS and Crossroads Intermediate School Honor Choirs, with guest soloists Frieda Todd, soprano, and Lawrence Abernathy, tenor, and will include Requiem by Faure and several other selections from both choirs. St. Andrews Presbyterian church is located at 6952 St. Andrews Rd, Columbia, SC.

Artistic direction: Suzanne Ringer (DFCS), and Laura Nevitt (Crossroads Honor Choir). Accompanist: William Douglas.
