12-December 2019 Dutch Fork Choral Society concert.

Music is the Gift of Life

And that gift applies whether you’re part of an appreciative audience or one of the singers, strengthening your mind and respiratory system.

About

Formed in 2001, the Dutch Fork Choral Society is a non-profit 501(c)(3) community choir serving Chapin, Irmo, and the surrounding communities. Through participation, members have the opportunity to share, preserve, and advance the art of choral singing in addition to developing their talents by performing a varied and challenging repertoire. From the sounds of Broadway to the spiritual works of composers such as Moses Hogan, this choral ensemble aims to please its audience through the gift of music!

The DFCS performs formal concerts throughout the year for the community, including The Lowman Home, a residential home for the aged. Rehearsals are held from 6:30-8:30 PM on Tuesday evenings from January to May and August to December. Newcomers are always welcome!
