2022-2023 Season

It is almost time to start singing again! The Dutch Fork Choral Society will begin rehearsals for the 2022-2023 Season with: a meet-and-greet at Mt. Horeb Lutheran Church 6:30-8:00 August 30. Then rehearsals will begin at 6:30pm-8:00pm September 6 also at Mt. Horeb. All Voice parts are needed. No auditions. Fees for the year are $60. We are trying to get registration setup this season online only [more info to follow]. We are extremely excited and fortunate to have Sarah High back this season as our artistic director and Bradley Fuller as our accompanist!

This season, the DFCS will be presenting 2 concerts at locations and dates as follows:

  1. Fall/winter concert: at St. Mary’s Episcopal, 12/8 with rehearsal there 12/6 and music of light, love, and life including a specially commissioned piece for our 20th [actually our 21st] anniversary from composer JaRon Brown.
  2. Fundraiser: will be Feb. 18, 2023, at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic church with rehearsal there 2/14.
  3. Spring concert: will be at Mt. Horeb on 5/4 with 5/2 rehearsal there and music inspired by songs, hymns, and ballads from Southern Appalachia. Please come, greet old friends, welcome new voices, and bring friends with you too.
