Chapin Old Timey Christmas

Dutch Fork Choral Society will be singing at the Chapin Old Timey Christmas celebration from 7:20-7:40pm on December 13th. The overall event runs from 6-9pm.

Borrowing directly from the Chapin website:

“This night of holiday cheer includes the tree lighting at 7:30 pm, visits from Santa & Mrs. Claus, and special readings from some of our favorite people in Chapin. You can also visit with our fun volunteers at the children’s activities, sing along with our carolers, and listen to live music while shopping with our hand-picked Christmas vendors. We hope to see you all here!”

Chapin celebrates the Christmas season with a tree lighting, caroling, and so much more.

Singing Opportunity: Do you love to sing but don’t have the time for a weekly commitment? Have you always wanted to join a local choral group but just haven’t taken the next step? The time is now.

This is a two-rehearsal, one performance opportunity to sing with members of the Dutch Fork Choral Society. We’ll rehearse from 6:30 to 8:30pm in the sanctuary at Mt. Horeb Lutheran Church (101 E Boundary St, Chapin) on December 2nd and 9th. The event location is adjacent to the Tipsy Toad (103 Beaufort St, Chapin). We’ll be singing from 7:20-7:40pm. Here’s some additional background:

Concert “dress” is informal, Christmas or holiday garb, heavy on reds and greens.

If you want to join us, plan to arrive at Mt. Horeb Lutheran Church on Dec. 2nd and 9th. The music list is available here.
